About Bankhaus Carl Spängler & Co. AG
The roots of the Spängler family as wine growers and hosts go back to the year 1590. From the South Tyrolean Ahrntal, they arranged the transport of wine, silk and spices from Venice to Salzburg and of salt in the opposite direction. The transport turned into trade and through its financing the banking house was finally established in 1828.
