About Bankhaus C.L. Seeliger
November 1, 1794 – Heinrich Anton Christoph Seeliger lays the foundation stone for our bank: with the opening of his trading business under the Krambuden in Wolfenbüttel.
1823 – The Seeliger family buys the house at Lange Herzogstrasse 63 from the pharmacist Anton Friedrich Dünnhaupt for 4,500 thalers. Our head office is still the seat of the CL Seeliger bank today and has a rich history spanning several hundred years.
