About Bankhaus Bauer AG
1931 – The banker Richard Bauer founds Bankhaus Bauer KG in Stuttgart.
1939 – Richard Bauer and all male employees are drafted into military service. During the war years, only women led the institute at times.
1944 – The business premises at Kronenstrasse 31 are completely destroyed by bombs. The company headquarters will be relocated to Schwäbisch Gmünd at short notice.
