Bankhaus E. Mayer AG can look back on over 130 years of tradition. The bank was founded in Freiburg in 1879 by banker Elias Mayer. From the beginning, the bank maintained traditional banking business and soon made a name for itself well beyond the borders of Freiburg. In 1952, the owner at the time, Mr. Wilhelm Imm, managed with prudence and energy to bring the bank to an ever-increasing number of customers within a few years and to further expand its performance.
