Finli, a payment management platform, raises $6 million in seed funding

Payment management platform Finli has closed its $6 million seed funding round led by Urban Innovation Fund. Motley Fool Ventures, M13, Alumni Ventures, and previous investors Mac Venture Capital, Slauson and Co., Core Innovation Capital, Techstars, and Muse Capital were included in the funding round.

The seed round brings the total capital secured to around $9.5 million. The LA-based payment platform plans to use the newly acquired seed capital to enhance the company’s team and to increase the number of financial services provided to small businesses.

Finli’s payment platform aims to help service-based businesses in managing their finances. The company’s primary clients are small businesses, freelancers, landscapers, home services, caregivers, etc. Finli platform enables users to create invoices, receive payments, track invoice payments and customers, and pay invoices using mobile devices.
