The San Francisco-based broker-dealer platform, Finalis, closes a $10.7 million seed funding round. The round was led by multiple venture capital firms, some of which are ANIMO Ventures, Uli Ventures, Chaac Ventures, Tribe Capital, and The Fund.

The acquired funds will be used for expansion, market growth, and further development of Finalis’s dealmaking platform to enhance compliance.

Launched in 2020, the investment banking platform allows private market participants (dealmakers) to close deals compliantly. It offers a fully-integrated regulatory affiliation and compliance solution and support for M&A, private placements, capital raising, fintech marketplaces, etc.

It is estimated that the Finalis platform already manages deal volume worth billions, providing support to more than 150 investment banks and placement agencies in the U.S.

The fintech startup has partnered with banks, independent dealmakers, and agencies.
