1986 – Establishment of Bank Rozwoju Eksportu. The sale of the bank’s shares in the public offering, launched this year, was the first in Poland since the pre-war period.
1989 – Provision of credit lines by the World Bank and the IFC. BRE Bank becomes a member of the international settlement system SWIFT.
