About Maldives Monetary Authority
The Maldives Monetary Authority was established in 1981, under the mandate provided by the MMA Act (1981). Up until the second amendment to the MMA Act in 2007, the cabinet minister in charge of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury served as ex officio Governor of the MMA, while the State Minister of Finance and Treasury served as the ex officio Vice Governor.
As such, President Uz.
