Bank of Commerce Holdings and its wholly owned subsidiary, Redding Bank of Commerce, completed acquisition of the capital city’s oldest locally owned and operated bank, Merchants Holding Company, and its wholly owned subsidiary, The Merchants National Bank of Sacramento, founded in 1922. Accordingly, we changed our name from Redding Bank of Commerce to Merchants Bank of Commerce, unifying all of our branches and divisions under one name and logo. Our new name honors the legacies of both Redding Bank of Commerce and The Merchants National Bank of Sacramento.
