About RACQ
RACQ has proudly served Queenslanders for over 115 years. As a mutual organisation, RACQ is Queensland’s largest club with 1.7 million members.
RACQ’s purpose is to make a positive difference to the lives of our members now and into the future.
The club was first formed to advocate for motorists and improve road safety. Our early members’ valuable contributions to the community through World War 1 were officially recognised by George V when he approved the use of “Royal” title in the club’s name in 1921.
