About DEŽELNA BANKA SLOVENIJE D.D.
Deželna banka Slovenije has several decades of tradition, as its beginnings date back to the time of savings and credit services. In 2020, the bank celebrated 30 years of existence on the Slovenian market.
Its predecessor, Slovenska zadružna kmetijska banka , was founded in 1990 and became a financial pillar of agriculture, cooperatives and the food processing industry. As an upgrade of cooperative agricultural and food services, it revived the tradition of successful and safe agricultural and cooperative financial institutions before the Second World War in Slovenia. With the acquisition of the assets and liabilities of the Association of Savings and Credit Services in 2004, the interests of two financial institutions that had previously worked synergistically in the field of agriculture came together.
