What is JOMO or Joy оf Missing Out?

The joy of Missing Out or JOMO is a term used to express happiness that someone didn’t record significant losses due to a substantial decline in the value of a specific coin or token. The JOMO can also be felt by subjects when certain ICO turns out to be a scam. The term is used by investors who closed their position before the unfavorable change in crypto value or by investors, so-called no-coiners, who do not participate in the crypto market.

The term JOMO is the direct opposite of the fear of missing out or FOMO, as it represents a trader who is pleased for not falling under the hype associated with cryptocurrency trends. For instance, a trader will experience the JOMO when other traders buy a coin at an ATH price, and the coin’s value declines substantially afterward.
