What is Gas Limit?
A gas limit is the maximum acceptable amount of gas a cryptocurrency user is willing to pay or spend for a specific transaction. The gas limit is stated in units, and it is commonly quoted that the minimum gas amount should be set at 21,000 units, while the gas price per unit is determined by supply and demand between miners.
The minimum or recommended minimum amount of gas limit may differ depending on the ERC protocol. Whenever users want to make a transaction, they need to set a gas limit that is acceptable for them. Consequently, the highest amount of gas a user is willing to pay for the transaction is referred to as the gas limit.
