About Skyline National Bank
Our tradition of caring for community all along and around the Blue Ridge Parkway is collectively more than 200 years strong. Grayson National Bank and Bank of Floyd – two independent, neighboring banks – combined on July 1, 2016 and rebranded as Skyline National Bank on March 13, 2017. Prior to this combination, Grayson National Bank officially opened for business on November 1, 1900, in Independence, Virginia, and Bank of Floyd on February 24, 1951, although Bank of Floyd roots date back to the heritage banks of the late 1800s.
So this is how we start a bank that draws from more than 200 years of collective banking expertise in this community: with a new name, mission and attitude, but the same friendly faces. We’re a solid bank built on a foundation of beliefs for a new century of service. Our tradition of caring for the community has always been important to us.
