Our bank has had a presence in the Netherlands for more than 50 years – under its predecessor bank, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Holland) N.V. – successfully supporting our client base and governing our businesses in the Netherlands and Central and Eastern Europe through our EU banking license. On 1 May 2016, MUFG Bank (Europe) N.V. (Herein after MUFG Bank (Europe)) was established and our business in Belgium – Brussels Branch – was incorporated into our established network. On 1 May 2017, the subsidiary in Poland, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Polska) S.A. was reorganized as Poland Branch.
