Previously, the stock exchange looked like a place or house where traders and intermediaries gathered at certain hours to enter into agreements on securities or commodities. Today, trading on the stock exchange takes place in electronic form, using special programs .
Stock trading in Ukraine dates back to 1992. Prior to the launch of the Ukrainian Stock Exchange in 2009, none of the exchanges had a system of performance guarantees.
