What is DAICO?
DAICO, or Decentralized Autonomous Initial Coin Offering, is a newly created model for raising funds necessary for financing different startups and projects. Vitalik Buterin proposed the DAICO concept, combining the features of DAO and ICO while reducing the possibility of fraud and incomplete projects. DAICO’s superiority over classical ICO is that it assigns certain controls to ensure that the defined milestones are met before project developers can access the investors’ finds. Investors might also have the opportunity to take back their money in cases when the assigned team doesn’t fulfill certain project requirements.
