About Narodowy Bank Polski
The National Bank of Poland (NBP) is the central bank of the Republic of Poland. Performs the tasks specified in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, the Act on the National Bank of Poland and the Banking Law. The aforementioned legal acts guarantee the independence of NBP from other state authorities.
The NBP performs three basic functions: the issuing bank, the bank’s bank and the central bank of the state.
