About Banque BIA
Created in 1975 in the heart of Paris, Banque Intercontinentale Arabe changed its name in 2005 to Banque BIA.
Since the outset, Banque BIA’s objective has been to strengthen and develop economic and financial relations between France and the Arab countries and, initially, in the 80s, it specialised in financing commercial flows between France and Algeria and Libya.
The year 2000 saw the launch of a new commercial strategy extended to the whole of the Mediterranean region and Sub-Saharan Africa.
