What is Microbitcoin?

Microbitcoin or uBTC is one of Bitcoin’s sub-units and denominations. uBTC represents one-millionth of a Bitcoin, or 1 uBTC equals 0.000001 BTC. Moreover, one microbitcoin corresponds to 100 satoshis.

The term referring to a Bitcoin unit is sometimes confused with the decentralized peer-to-peer microtransaction payment protocol, MicroBitcoin (MBC). The protocol is aimed at the micro-economy, and MCB is hard forked from Bitcoin’s 525,000th block.
