Yapi Kredi Bank Nederland NV was created by the merger of Koçbank Nederland NV (established in 1996) and the former Yapi Kredi Bank Nederland NV (established in 2001). Following this merger, which was completed on July 1, 2007, Koçbank Nederland NV changed its name to Yapı Kredi Bank Nederland NV. The merged bank will continue to operate under a full banking license issued by the Dutch Central Bank.
